Tricks To Boost/Increase your Tata Photon Plus/Max Speed

Tata Photon is the most widely used wireless internet services in India. Tata Photon most commonly used devices are Tata Photon+ (upto 3.1 mbps downlink, 1.8 mbps uplink) and Tata Photon Max(upto 9.8 mbps downling, 3.6 mbps uplink) .

But nowadays with many new companies coming into the market Tata Photon has lost it's place. Although the bandwidth offered by Tata Photon is comparable to other new companies but most of the Tata photon users complains about getting low browsing and download speed. Generally the speed of your connection is decided by your ISP and the strength of network you are getting. But today i will tell you two easy tricks which will effectively increase your Tata Photon+ and Tata Photon Max speed.

Trick 1 : Increase Tata Photon+/Max Speed By Using TCP Optimizer.

• First of all download the TCP Optimizer, install and run the program.
• In TCP optimizer Goto: General Settings and move the slider according to your desired internet speed. Let's say ~1 Mbps.

• Look at the botton there you will see 4 Radio buttons. Choose the one saying 'Optimal'.
• Now a new window will appear in which make sure you check the 'Backup' option and then click 'Ok'.

• Restart your computer so that changes can take place.

To Restore Settings :

• Run TCP Optimizer.
• Click File>>Restore Backup Settings and select the saved backup file.
• Your system will be restored with the default network settings.

Trick 2 : Increase Tata Photon+/Max Speed By Using Run Commands. 

To perform the following steps you must disable your anti-virus first :

• Goto Run Command. Type 'temp' and then click on 'Ok'. A window will appear in which you select all files by pressing ctrl+A and delete them.
• Then again Goto Run Command and type '%temp'. Click on 'Ok'. Again select all files and delete them.
• Open Run Command and type "netsh winsock reset".
• Again in Run command type "netsh int ip resetlog.txt"
• Now Open Internet Explorer>>Tools>>Internet Options>>Delete Cookies and Files.
• Goto Advanced tab and then click on Restore defaults and click on apply button.
• Goto Programs tab>>Reset Web Settings>>Ok.
• If you're using firefox or chrome, clear everything manually.
• Now restart your sytem so that changes can take place.
