HOW TO ACCESS CHROME BROWSING HISTORY BY DATE

By default Google Chrome offers simple history page where you can access all of pages you accessed in the browser. It shows time and the title of the page. Clicking on title will show the page. If you want to see pages you accessed in a specific date, you will have to go down to see older pages till date for which you access history. There is no simple option to just filter history based on browsing date. But good thing is that there is a Google Chrome extension which can enhance this page to let you browse history by date and tags.
You only need to install “Better History” Google Chrome extension in your browser. After installation, it adds a clock icon in omnibar. This clock icon can be used to add tags to pages. Now open the history page again. You can do this by typing chrome://history/ in address bar. Or press CTRL+H.

You will see the different history page. At the left side, you can see the date filters. You can select any date. Default date options are given by 7 days interval. From the calendar option, you can select specific date.

You can also search history by title and URL. For this, it has also added a search box at the top of the page.
Last option in the side bar is for settings. Here, you can change the default options of the extension like visit grouping, domain grouping and other things. You can also login to syncs your tags.
Developer behind the extension is also working to bring devices option to let you know your browsinghistory on other devices.
I found this Chrome extension very useful. Because it let me quickly find my previously browsed URLs. It is obviously better than the original history page offered by Google Chrome. Try this extension and let us know your opinion about this.
